Who Is Rebecca Loos? The Dutch Model Claims She ‘Never Lied’ About Her Alleged Affair With David Beckham

More than two decades have passed, and yet, the question persists – did David Beckham cheat on his wife, Victoria Beckham, with his former assistant, Rebecca Loos?
Seems like the former Dutch model has decided to stick to her side of the truth and has, in fact, revived the story once again.
What happened?
Rebecca Loos, Beckham’s former assistant, who alleges she had a four-month-long affair with him more than 20 years ago, is doubling down on her past claims in a new interview.
Speaking with 60 Minutes Australia in a segment published on Sunday, March 30, the former Dutch model who worked as Beckham’s personal assistant in 2003 is claiming that she “stuck to the truth” in the years since she alleged she and the soccer star had an affair while he was married to his wife, Victoria Beckham.
A couple of years ago, in 2023, when Rebecca had thought her steamy encounters with David Beckham were well and truly behind her, the reality brought her face-to-face with her past brush with the Soccer Superstar as the series ‘Beckham’ premiered on a popular OTT platform.
As per Rebecca, she was compelled to speak out once again, because, according to her, “If somebody tries to bring me down and smear me, I’m gonna have to stand up for myself. I think I always will.”
During her candid 60 Minutes interview, Rebecca revealed why she has continued to speak up and never truly shied away from discussing her short-lived romance with Beckham.
According to Rebecca, “I have stuck to the truth. I’ve never exaggerated, I’ve never lied about a single thing.”
Rebecca Loos is a Dutch former glamour model and media personality who first came to public attention following her claims that she had conducted an affair with the married footballer David Beckham while she was employed as his personal assistant.
The allegations led to Rebecca appearing on several reality television series, magazine covers, and in other media for a few years thereafter.
Rebecca’s employment as Beckham’s personal assistant was terminated a few months later, and she subsequently gave an interview to the British tabloid newspaper News of the World in April 2004, alleging that she and Beckham had conducted a four-month affair while he was married to his wife Victoria.
However, the claims were never corroborated and were dismissed by Beckham as “ludicrous”, although he did not mount a legal challenge to the story.
After the stint with Beckham, Rebecca commenced a career as a media personality.
In 2004, she briefly appeared as a hostess on the Dutch TV programme Shownieuws. She went on to make an appearance on the controversial reality television programme The Farm, a Channels 5 version of the RTÉ show Celebrity Farm.
In 2005, Rebecca appeared on the ITV network reality television show Celebrity Love Island. The same year, she took part in a staged wedding ceremony with American fashion model Jenny Shimizu for the television programme Power Lesbian UK to protest against America’s laws on same-sex marriage. It was broadcast in the United States as Power Lesbians on Logo TV.
In fact, the duo had a relationship for a period thereafter as Rebecca stated that she is bisexual and “has been ever since [she] was a teenager.”
Rebecca was a contestant on the Spanish version of Survivor in 2007, in which she came third. In November of that year, she appeared in Sky TV’s Cirque de Celebrite in which she was one of two new contestants introduced midway through the series.
