The tailoring at VB’s Fall 2025 was too clean

Last night, we pulled up to Victoria Beckham’s Fall 2025 show space in Paris to find a dilapidated concrete building, filled with swirling dust and crumbling brick. Walking up the winding stairs into the actual venue of the show, hundreds of candles had been littered across the bare concrete floor, and plush cream sofas were throughout the room. A small reception had guests, including close friends and fam of Victoria Beckham, served sweet, refreshing cocktails before we were led to our seats in front of a soft cream carpet that covered the concrete floor.

Before the show had even started, we’d been reminded of the fact that Victoria Beckham is a woman who knows luxury. And much like her show space, her designs followed suit. Opening the show was a simple, tailored fit in stone grey, with a couple unique details: the ultra-cropped sweatshirt worn beneath the jacket, and the flat, rectangular handbag. This was followed by a series of looks – slips, shirts, tailored jackets, and blouses – that all riffed off of the same clean tailoring, but in an abstract way.

Then, the part of the show that you’ve probably seen all over socials already: Victoria Beckham introduced a new detail to the collection, on curl-hemmed pieces that were something out of her comfort zone. Despite being a new feature, the curl-hemmed dresses and jackets were perfectly at home on the runway. Other looks followed the same trend that we seem to be seeing at almost every show this season: slouchy silhouettes and comfortable fabrics were the priority, as seen in draped silk slips, low-shouldered jackets, and a cotton one-piece with loose sleeves.

The star of the collection has to be the closing look, which brought something we did not expect to see on the runway at Victoria Beckham: a bath robe. Tucked into a pair of black slacks, the hotel-style towelling robe was worn like a white shirt, with a belt around the waist. It was an interesting choice, and a clear indication that Victoria Beckham is stepping out of her comfort zone and doing things differently. Who knows, maybe at Spring 2026 she’ll be entering the avant garde.
