David and Victoria Beckham are reportedly facing headaches as their eldest son Brooklyn, 26, and second son Romeo, 22, are reported to have a rift.
The brothers are said to be in tension because of Romeo’s girlfriend, Kim Turnbull. This conflict has caused David and Victoria significant distress, especially since Victoria has just overcome tension with Brooklyn’s wife Nicola Peltz, Page Sixreported.
“Victoria and David are beside themselves and don’t know what to do,” a source told Woman’s Day.
The whole family has been caught up in Brooklyn and Romeo’s war that has been simmering away ever since Brooklyn and Nicola’s huge fallout with Victoria.
“Romeo is furious with his brother over it and thinks he’s changed since Nicola came into his life. Brooklyn’s well aware of his feelings, which is why this situation with Kim has exploded. Brooklyn’s convinced his brother is trying to goad him, but it’s an impossible situation because as far as Romeo’s concerned, Brooklyn lost all rights to discuss his choice of partner when he sent his girlfriend to war against their mum.”

Adding to the tension, Victoria’s plans to put Romeo as the heir to her $129 million fashion empire has made Brooklyn uncomfortable. The situation has strained the brothers’ relationship, with Brooklyn reportedly feeling sidelined.
Rumors of a rift in the Beckham family began to spread after Brooklyn and his wife, Nicola, were absent from David’s lavish 50th birthday celebration in Miami at the end of March. This absence became more noticeable when no one in the family mentioned the couple. Meanwhile, Romeo posted a family photo without Brooklyn and Nicola at his father’s birthday party, captioning it: “Family is everything.”
Romeo did not tag his brother or sister-in-law Nicola.
According to TMZ, the conflict reportedly began in December 2024, a month after Romeo and Kim went public with their relationship. Brooklyn was said to be unhappy with Kim dating Romeo although her parents approved of the relationship. Brooklyn and Kim were close in 2016, even though the younger brother Cruz denied the rumor that they dated.
It is reported that Brooklyn and Nicola were unlikely to attend family events when Kim was present. The couple also did not attend Victoria’s fashion collection launch at Paris Fashion Week in early March.
In April 2024, when Brooklyn and Nicola celebrated their third wedding anniversary, David and Victoria remained silent, not publicly congratulating or interacting with their children on social media.
